Notes

'Jester' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Jester') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single blooms are creamy white with raspberry streaks that match the raspberry stigmas. They open in late spring on stems that stand up well, and the foliage looks good all season. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Queen of Night tulip, Blue sage, and Cinnamon fern.
