'Jiang Nan Si Zhu' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Jiang Nan Si Zhu') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double flowers are white with a blush pink center and a few red-pink flecks. They bloom in early to late spring. The low, broad plants reach about 24 inches and benefit from support.
