Notes

'Jolly Good' peony (Paeonia 'Jolly Good') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and attracts butterflies. Derek Irvine introduced it in 2001. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Jackmanii clematis, and Johnny jump up.
