Notes

'Jonight' Atlantic nine-bark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'Jonight') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate and has an arching shape. Flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with New Jersey tea, False indigo, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
