Notes

'Jefam' Atlantic nine-bark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'Jefam') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and forms an arching mound up to 72 inches tall. Pink or white flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Indigo bush, Yellow marsh marigold, Rush, and Golden Globe American arborvitae.
