Notes
'Joseph Aletti' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Joseph Aletti') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese type flowers open carmine-pink with mauve shading. Rosy straw staminodes fill the center of each bloom. Edouard Doriat bred it.
Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Royal fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
