Notes

'Joseph's Coat' rose (Rosa 'Joseph's Coat') is a shrub for borders and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The upright canes carry fragrant red blend flowers that attract butterflies. Armstrong Nursery introduced it in 1963.

Pairs well with Frances Rivis clematis, Jackmanii clematis, and Feather reed grass.
