Notes

'Joyful Moon' peony (Paeonia 'Joyful Moon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant yellow double blooms open one per stem and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and it stands upright at 26 inches without support.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Patriot hosta, Switchgrass, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
