Notes

'Joyful Morning' peony (Paeonia 'Joyful Morning') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single bright pink blooms reach 4 to 4½ inches wide, one per stem. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The upright stems grow 20 to 22 inches tall and need no support.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Patriot hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Switchgrass.
