Notes

'Joyful Salver' peony (Paeonia 'Joyful Salver') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, light yellow, semi-double blooms attract bees and butterflies on upright stems that need no support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Praying Hands hosta, Nodding onion, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
