This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Upright growth reaches about 28 feet tall and 8 feet wide. The tulip-shaped flowers are golden yellow and pink with plum tinged bases. They open in spring and smell like Fruit Loops cereal.
