Notes

'Juhannus' peony (Paeonia 'Juhannus') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It stays small, with height up to 25 inches. Each stem holds one cupped, single white flower about 4 inches across. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Spiked speedwell, Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Little bluestem, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
