Notes

'Julia Felix' peony (Paeonia 'Julia Felix') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant, single, bright red flowers that attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The upright plants need no support, and Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Sedge, Stargazer lily, and Knapweed.
