Notes

'Juliet' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Juliet') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers have deep rose-pink outer petals and lighter centers that curl and flute. Mrs. Walter Campbell Lyman bred it in 1942. Juliet is an Anemone type bloom.

Pairs well with Sedge, Ostrich fern, and Monkshood.
