Notes
'June Moon' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'June Moon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers open pale flesh pink and age to white, with green carpels in the center. Stiff stems hold the blooms up in late spring. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.
Pairs well with Brown-eyed Susan, Tall fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
