Notes
'June Rose' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'June Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, deep rose-pink blooms are fully double and open early. The dark green foliage looks good after the flowers fade. R.H. Jones bred it.
Pairs well with Spotted dead nettle, Queen of Night tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
