Notes
'JWW8' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'JWW8') is a tree for specimen, accent, and woodland use. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes average to moist soil. It grows slowly into a broad shape, so give it room. Spring blooms draw bees, and birds visit too. It sits low on the menu for deer.
Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Bracken, and Witch hazel.
