Notes

'Orangeola' Japanese maple (Acer palmatum 'Orangeola') is a tree for specimen planting, containers, borders, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a broad shape, so give it room to spread. Bees and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Primrose, and Ornamental onion.
