Notes

'Kaiteri Gold' peony (Paeonia 'Kaiteri Gold') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Yellow blooms with short red flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Jackmanii clematis, and Susan magnolia.
