Notes

'Karen Sue' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Karen Sue') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It blooms in spring and summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Moonlight tickseed, and Stonecrop.
