Notes
'Katz Formula Mix' stock (Matthiola incana 'Katz Formula Mix') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. Cool weather suits it, and it can take a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears fragrant red, yellow, or pink blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Bells of Ireland, Lily, and Japanese forest grass.
