Notes

'Kew Blue' caryopteris (Caryopteris clandonensis 'Kew Blue') is a shrub for borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The fragrant blooms attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Stonecrop, and Fountain grass.
