Notes

'King Albert' daffodil (Narcissus 'King Albert') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The large, fragrant flowers have clear golden yellow petals and a slightly darker center cup, and they attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. A. Frijlink & Zonen bred it.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Blue fescue, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Greig's tulip.
