Notes

'Knirps' rose (Rosa 'Knirps') is a compact shrub for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep pink blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit the flowers. It stays small, so it suits small gardens and pots. W. Kordes Sohne bred it in 1997.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Bartzella peony, and Fragrant Bouquet hosta.
