Notes

'Konigsberg' peony (Paeonia 'Konigsberg') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Nodding red flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The plant grows almost 1 m high.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Creeping phlox.
