Notes

'Kordia' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Kordia') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The columnar tree grows fast and blooms from early to late spring, which draws bees and butterflies. It is grown for fresh eating, and the fruit ripens late. You need a second cherry nearby for pollination because it is not self-fertile.

Pairs well with White fringe tree, Bridal Crown daffodil, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Red elderberry.
