'Kuban' tulip (Tulipa 'Kuban') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are turkey red on the outside, tinged with vermilion red. Inside, they are turkey red with an oxblood red base. The leaves are mottled, and the plant blooms in early to late spring.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Karl Rosenfield peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
