Notes
'La Fiancée' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'La Fiancée') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single white flowers reach 7 inches across and surround a mass of yellow stamens. The blooms smell pleasant, and the strong stems stand up well in rain. Victor Lemoine bred it.
Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Switchgrass, and Blue sage.
