This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. Red buds open to bright gold blooms with a medium lemon fragrance. It repeats its bloom, and bees visit the flowers. Brad Jalbert bred it in 2018.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Niobe clematis, and Blue Mouse Ears hosta.
