Notes

'Lady of Rome' peony (Paeonia 'Lady of Rome') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large pink double flowers have frilled guard petals with blurred salmon edges, and heavy blooms benefit from support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Coralbells, and Stargazer lily.
