Notes

'Ladybird' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Ladybird') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The red flowers have yellow tips and bloom in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Creeping thyme, and Feather reed grass.
