Notes
'Langley' peony (Paeonia 'Langley') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant, semi-double pink blooms on good stems of medium height, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers. William S. Bockstoce bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Pink Impression tulip.
