Notes

'Lassie' peony (Paeonia 'Lassie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It has medium height and bears fragrant pink single flowers that attract butterflies and bees. Elizabeth Glasscock Falk bred it.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
