Notes
'Lasting Beauty' peony (Paeonia 'Lasting Beauty') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The early single flowers open light pink and mature to cream with a dark magenta throat. William J. Seidl bred it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Lady of the snows, Lily, and Buffalo grass.
