Notes

'Laura' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Laura') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant purple flowers have a white eye and open from early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Little bluestem, and Stargazer lily.
