Notes

'Laura' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Laura') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single pink flowers that look lovely in a vase. H.A. Terry bred it from Purple Premier and Purple Infante. You can cut the blooms for bouquets once the buds show color.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Sedge, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Ostrich fern.
