Notes

'Lavender Lace' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lavender Lace') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1979. Its Japanese type blooms are lavender, with staminodes of the same color edged in yellow. The stems reach about 35 inches and carry dark green foliage.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
