Notes

'Lavender' rose (Rosa 'Lavender') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The cupped, ruffled flowers are lavender with a light fragrance and 40 or more petals. Bees visit the blooms in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. The Veranda series stays compact at about 3 feet tall, so it suits a patio pot.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Nelly Moser clematis, Queen of Night tulip, and Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta.
