Notes

'Le Cratère' peony (Paeonia 'Le Cratère') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single pink flowers have a pale yellow base that forms a bowl, and the pink fades as they age. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Prairie dropseed, Queen of Night tulip, and Miss Kim lilac.
