Notes

'Leading Lady Plum' beebalm (Monarda bradburyana 'Leading Lady Plum') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its plum flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is a mildew resistant selection. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Kansas peony.
