Notes

Leatherleaf viburnum (Viburnum rhytidophyllum) is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, so it needs little care once settled. Creamy white flowers draw butterflies and birds.

Pairs well with Green Velvet buxus, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Festiva Maxima peony, and Autumn fern.
