Notes

'Legacy' magnolia (Magnolia 'Legacy') is a tree for specimen planting, privacy screens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pinkish-white flowers with a red base open in early to late spring. The blooms are fragrant and attract bees, and birds also visit the tree. The leaves stay green all year.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Japanese forest grass, and Ornamental onion.
