Notes

'Leggiero' rose (Rosa 'Leggiero') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Kikuo Teranishi bred it, and the Itami Rose Garden introduced it.

Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Jackmanii clematis, and Lily.
