Notes

'Leona' rose (Rosa 'Leona') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium pink blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the dark green, leathery leaves set them off. Werner Noack bred it in 2003.

Pairs well with Gaura, Incrediball hydrangea, Stargazer lily, and Spurge.
