Notes

'Light Amanda' tulip (Tulipa 'Light Amanda') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The dark purple-red flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 24 inches tall. Koninklijke Van Zanten B.V. bred it, and the blooms last well in a vase.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Karl Rosenfield peony, and Fanal astilbe.
