Notes

'Light Years Away' rose (Rosa 'Light Years Away') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The mauve petals lighten to lavender pink at the edges. Each flower has up to 100 petals and a strong, citrusy-fruity fragrance. Christian Bedard bred it, and it reblooms from summer into fall.

Pairs well with False indigo, Royal Purple smoketree, Casa Blanca lily, and The President clematis.
