Notes

'Lighthouse Glow' peony (Paeonia 'Lighthouse Glow') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Golden-yellow blooms with amber shading and dark red flares open in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Green Spice coral bells, Foxglove, and Royal Purple smoketree.
