Notes

'Lightning Flash' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Lightning Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Yellow blooms open from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Creme de Cognac dahlia, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Lemongrass.
