Notes

'Lilac Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Lilac Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single, fragrant flowers are lilac with rosy pink flares, and bees and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Little Beauty tulip.
