Notes
'Linda Hoover' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Linda Hoover') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blush pink blooms have a creamy center and open in early to mid spring. Styer bred it in 1967 as a sport of 'Mons Jules Elie'. The stems are not entirely straight, so you may want to stake them.
Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Garlic chives, and Wintergreen.
